Cowboy Town

How's everyone? I'm bloggin now from A' Famosa,Malacca. Finally I got internet connection....I've realize that I can't survive more than 1 day without it. *lol* But I only got like an hour here so dis is gonna be short.

The first day of the retreat ended up great as we have more 'free-and-easy' time allowed for us to get rest and prepare for the 2nd day(today). But as notti as all of us are, we ended up using that time to party. *haahaha* As you can see,my friend who have just joined this company seems to be having a good time. (watch out for my next entry as he is selected to become our idol...? What is dat?...you'll find out. *giggles*)



Sai Kit (new guy) still can act cute ...lol. Wait til he work longer.. He will feel so 'san fu' (stressed) til wanna take the gun like one of our managers. *kekeke*



All 80 of us went to Cowboy Town in the A' Famosa resort for dinner and after dinner we attended the Carnival show. The last time I came here I had a lousy time, the show was menial and only worth a small *wohoo* But this time around, its a whole different story. All 80 of us enjoyed so much we were shouting and dancing like a bunch of hungry monkeys finding bananas. One of our managers went on the streets to dance with this Arabian tourist. OMG....I laugh so hard almost peee in my pants *lol*



The show was fantastic!! It started off with some boring fireeating action and I thought that was it. Then suddenly, a bunch of LENG LUIS (gorgeous ladies) started parading, lions, dogs, flying pigeons, elephant, camel and all kind interesting things started popping out of no where. I took so muchh pictures til my camera come out smoke. *hehehe*



After the show, some of us went bullriding... not real one la....automated one la! One of our only beautiful salesgirl took the challenge and was actually quite good. watchin her got me all excited~...lol



Right when I thought the night was over and we have no where to go and town is like 45 minutes away, we found a spot. And guess wat, the LENG LUIS at the parade is all here. What happen when 30 grown up mans come out on a trip together and ended up in a disco filled with extremely sexy China girls?

I don't have any pic of me, but I think I should look like a real version of this at the dancefloor.



The gals are not only so beautiful, they were melting all our hearts with their singing and dancing. Wah liiuu...







Then we were trying to win them by our charms and superb dancing. *LOL*

ReTreAT!!!!

Tomorrow I'll be heading down to A' Famosa, Malacca for our annual sales retreat. These two weeks have been a busy week for me preparing for the up and coming Sales Retreat in my company.



Just today I was going through some photos taken on the last retreat in 2006 and *cough* I was shocked to see all our salesman in extremely hilarious poses and costumes. I knew I just had to share with u guys. I didn't know they were so sporting. *kekeke* Now I wished that I had went.



In my industry, most of the salesman are male...but we try to even up the stats at least once a year.=P



Oh man! It is just so disgustin' *LMAO*



And since we spend almost 7/8 of our lifes in the city, we really got to go back to nature once a year too.

And some of my staff watched too much HEROES dat they suspect they hav superpowers. -_- *stress*





Later today, I was finshing off the Certificates to award my fellow colleagues. And seeing so many people are being awarded and I don't get any, I couldn't resist but to give myself one.

Hello! I'm here to enlighten you guys on how this super awesome magnificent game of the century has affected the male population today and how you're cool to be part of this huge movement of DotA gamers! If you're not part of us then read on how why you're not as cool as us!

First and foremost let me tell you why DotA is essential in our lives. Girls I'm sorry, but you can't be cool. Wait, there are girl gamers! And girl gamers are FREAKING HOT! so if you wanna be cool and get lotsa guys attention (go cybercafe and see how many guys standing behind a chick playing DotA trying to look down her cleavage) then you should try this game!!! wow!!11!11!!! still don't believe? when you're in a dota game, go type 'eh chick at the counter', and watch heads turn!! it was experimented and the results were proven!

Ok, I am a Marketing and Management student so let me show you what we call the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs! Maslow says that in order to be cool people tend to satisfy their hunger and thirst first and then they wanna feel safe and when they are safe and sound they wanna have sex in that safe place so that they'll feel belonging then when they have sex many times they will have self esteem and social recognition status as a player and when you have more sex then you will have self actualisation that you are a sex guru. So, basically, this theory is full of perversion and rubbish. And honestly, you think chicks that easy to find meh?

What utter rubbish and fantasy he must be living in! Let's face reality here!

Without DotA...you will not learn the simple essential things in life that DotA will somehow indirectly teach you...you can't get this advise from anywhere else...pay attention for what you are about to listen to are words of wisdom...amen

That's quite a lot considering your expenditure is only on indomee, loklok and ramly. you don't have to spend much, and its only 2.50 per hour to tah kei. Plus, you don't necessarilly need a lot of money to spend on shopping...

WOW so damn CLICHE and LAME! Imagine if you are a DotA-er...you can try lines like this and it's so creative and cute and girls will be like *giggle giggle * what's he talking about then you can explain to her and it's a conversation starter...

Super Hot Chick!!

I've a confession, I love hot chicks. I don't know why, mebbe cause they are so delicious and mouth-watering or maybe I've a thing for chicks. I like to go to places where they have the hottest chicks. Places where when you get there, you have this urge inside you to seek the hottest chick ever. There is one particular hot chick that I loved so much. So much so that I would sometimes 'curi-makan' during non-lunch hour. If possible, I would even *#@ her in the office if I could.

What the Twitter

A friend of mine introduced me to this thing called Twitter. I was like "what is dat? Tweeter for sound system or wat?" and he he said its a site where you can inform the whole world of what you're doing. -_-" I wonder why I would have an urge to tell everyone on this planet that I'm currently 'sleepin' or 'humpin' but hey... it got me all curious. It appears that Twitter is currently the MOST TALKED ABOUT web fad now.



So I had nothing to do today so I signed up and wondered how useful this stupid thing is going to be. You know, you can even use your phone to post up what ure doing to Twitter. THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOO Damn waste of time USeFUL MAN!!!! Before I close my comp today, I've suddenly thought maybe everyone is interested in what I'm about to do ...so..



First thing in the morning tomorrow I'm going to come here and find out what Mrs Thampinadam from Pakistan is doing. Hopefully she is makin that green curry I will never eat in my life nor smell nor see. But just to know...

Sony PSP vs. Nintendo DS

My second guest blog so far. Anyways, likely this debate has taken place all over the internet dozens of times. So I will be different and ponder instead from a Malaysian's perspective. During my last visit, a colleague asked to get a PSP for his son because Malaysian variants are more 'grey' than local Australian versions. I was curious but after a lot of trawling, information wasn't easy to come by on the net. Makes a good blog topic so ..


I won't go over the specs or their library of games because that information is everywhere. In terms of portability, the NDS edges out with 8 hour battery life against the PSP's 6 hours and both weigh similarly. But if you were really a Malaysian gamer, your essential questions would really be:-

1) What is the initial ownership cost?
2) How and where can I get the copycat games?

Lets get started then ..

No surprise, the Playstation Portable is more expensive to start up. The initial start-up kit consist of the actual PSP unit (RM780), 2GB Memory Stick (RM170), PSP USB cable (RM30) and 1 original game (RM120). So cost of ownership is RM1100. Prices quoted are in gaming shop at Sunway Pyramid, top floor in the Tech Section. The memory stick is necessary to store the copycat games which average over 500MB in size. The emulator software needs 1 original game to trick the PSP and it needs to be loaded into internal memory via the USB cable. The PSP unit itself needs to be firmware version 1.50 to work with the emulator. Later firmware versions have better security so they don't work with copycat games. The Sunway shop will happily change the firmware to 1.50 but not all shops do that so best to ask. You could change the firmware yourself via hacks over the internet but isn't easy and can permanently wreck the PSP.

The Nintendo DS is a friendlier start with the actual NDS unit (RM600), DS Flash Card (RM180) and 1GB MicroSD (RM150). Again the Sunway Pyramid shop will have the complete gear. For non-Malaysian readers, the DS Flash card can also be purchased online.

Operation wise, the DS flash card is also much easier. Games are recorded into the MicroSD then inserted into the flash card which in turn goes into the NDS. All plug and play. No emulator involved.

Where to get the games? ..

The Sunway store sells a DVD with around 8 games for RM20 a piece. I expect other stores would do similarly. The DVD came with installation instructions and emulator software. There are a few hoops to jump through but since I didn't invest in a PSP, I don't have the details. The games are hard to find online and downloading such large files is another downside.

Again the NDS is friendlier because it lacks the PSP's stringent security controls. Simply copy / paste the contents of the included flash card CD and games in the MicroSD. Games are also smaller at around 30MB per download and easier to find online.

I don't game much so the simplicity of the NDS suited me better than the cutting edge security of the PSP. Nonetheless you weigh your own criteria so hopes this helped in tipping the scale one way or the other.

Malaysian Grand Prix 2007

Today I had to go to 1-Utama to find out wat is the freakin' wrong with my handphone. Cibai...for the longest time it has been lasting me only 5 hours a day. Yea..5 hours. You don't know how much this caused me, but the times when my phone is off, that is when every important call is missed. Why did I only made an attempt to find out what is wrong now? Coz, I can't seem to charge my freakin phone and it is dead. Apparently, it has always been the charger, NOT THE BATTERY (which I bought like 3!!) and I almost contemplated switchin to another phone but sigh...It has always been the CHARGER! Cheeebai....!!

Anyhows, I guess its fated, right when the day I actually did some shoppin, the mall is havin' some race queen show. It is just my fate, damn....and I ain't complainin' *ngek ngek* I don't think you're too. So, expect what you've always expected here =P









Girl No. 9 doesn't seem too happy to be the finalist....but still cute tho~ =P



I don't know bout you, but I think girl no. 8 should win. Wooooooooooooot!!

Zouk 3rd Anniversary
