The Last Stroke

Two days ago, my friend who is in a relationship for 6 years plus have been seeing another for almost a year.

Cheating

To him it was just casual, but to the 3rd party... it was a cruel one year of waiting for him to break off with his girlfriend (which he promised).

This was what she wrote in her last message to him:-

'You know what you'd made me gone through. Actions speaks louder than words. All I want from you is to leave me alone. Don't you get it?'

Love is not meant to be a game, but it can truly be one great endless game. And unlike sex, you can't play it safe.

It is a game where most heartbroken people play, where there are no promises.

A game that leaves many others heartbroken. A game that more often than not no one comes out winning. But the funny thing is, we still deem it as love. As it makes our heart skip a beat, make our mind go crazy, or make us feel the sweet pain that we curse but also misses at the same time.

one plus one plus one

But like I said, love is not meant to be a game. So if one person don't stop playing, there is always the last stroke. It can be the last stroke of passion,

of hatred,

cheating

or of sweet goodbye.

Which one it is depends on how much one can forgive themselves or the other person and which part of that person we want to take with us before we leave.

Any participants? hehe...Just kiddin'.

Always remember what the wise Phua Chu Kang say, 'Don't prayy praay ah, I tell you!'
