What is with the marriage craze?

I don't get it, almost every single day I'm hearing someone attending a wedding, someone talking about getting married or someone wants to get married. Did I miss the memo? Ello peeps? (grabs a girl just in case out of stock). Like in 5 days time, I'll be attending another wedding and that will make it the 4th wedding I've attended in this past 6 months. I've nothin' against those who are already in love, steady and are well prepared to take their relationship to the next level and tie the knot finally. But something strange is happenin..

It seems like those party goers too are catchin on with the latest 'I wanna get married' hype. I've been hearing from friends (especially girls) that they want to get married. Ok fine, they are about 23 and over so its around the appropriate time to get married. Then I hear rumours about another friend of mine that her boyfriend have proposed and she agreed. Errr... that is weird coz I saw how they met each other coz it just happened 3 months ago when we are attending another wedding. Seems like everyone is proposing here and there. What is happening? End of the world soon ar? Seems like love and security isn't really the main criteria anymore. Just head out to the next person beside you and hey....if he or she is single...get married la! Wah lao, make marriage sounds like buying teh-o ais in mamak store, so simple. What happens when the teh-o ais got insect? Just shout la...BOSS, TUKAR WEI!.


I don't know if you guys feel or not. But if its the end of the world ...ok fine...I'll join in the fun.

Seems like everyone is going at it. Also another thing I've notice is that kl girls nowadays are so wild. Don't get me wrong... NO COMPLAINTs HERE!! GAMBATTE! Lol.... just abit shock thats all coz it wasn't like dat a few years back. Some people say it is due to the population ratio in our KL city. There are more girls here than guys. Not sure if that is true, but it seems like so. So girls are going at it in the dance club as though its a warzone. Hahaaha.... (*opps too loud).

Its true! They are dressing skimpier, dancing wilder and drinkin harder. Good for us guys who go out party but this craze is going to hit us later when we finally marry one of them. Apa jadi? Your wife will look like Kenny Sia due to too much alchohol, make up and late nights.

Maybe that is why all the girls are trying to get married fast. I heard from one girl friend of mine complaining..."guys ar...all same la... make sure ur husband rich can dy". Wah, thats like making sure the mamak is BIG can already, got rats running around oso nevermind. *mouth wide open*

Maybe its the hormones making them wanna have kids soon. (That is what I heard from one of my colleague *shrugs*) Or maybe I really did misplace the memo that the world is gonna end soon, so why not marry someone? Hmm... but there is one good thing about all this. Its the competition among the 'char boh', trust me its good. Coz just today one of my girl friend was talking to me on msn and she was telling me that she is searching for porn. I say for wat? and guess wat she said?

So as a kind friend, I volunteered. *zip..lol.

This craze is good and I hope some of the fastfood restaurants catch up on the trend. Who knows...there might be so much over supply that this babes would ask them for help to marry them off.

Err, just make sure you don't supersize your meal this time. *wink
