Happy Valentine's Day everyone. At this very moment, those who are celebrating this day should be either very excited (the gals especially) or crying on the way to the ATM machine to get prepared for all the bills tonight. =) But hey, regardless.... I think it is a very special day because everyone is in this emotional mood because love is in the air.
So to those who are already in a relationship, this is the day to recuperate whatever bond that might have been lost throughout the years...the words that you no longer took time to say to one another, and bla bla bla. You catch muh drift. It doesn't really matters how expensive your gifts are or where you bring them, but I think creativity and the thought is what that really matters. I know this day is mostly for the 'char bohs', and we don't really know what they want. Like what a girl told me before, if you've lost it...go back and review what has worked.. treat them as though you're going after them again'. Hmmm.. *DenG!* This one requires some kung fu man. So do it, the upside is you both know you love one another anyways. The downside is thinkin how you gonna suck in your already fat belly and be the casanova you once was. Good luck eh =P
For those who are 'In love but not in a relationship', Ehhh? What you waiting for ??? Those restaurants, gift shop and florist probably hack up the prices for YOU! yEA WAT... you guys (or girls) who have hidden your feelings for far too long and only wait til Valentine's day to express em' all. Hope most of you have caught a date with the one you really want to be with. It would have sucked if they already have a date....but nevertheless. Try your best alright!? You might never know how the night would end up, just be sincere and be yourself. (Wah lao, macam expert ni..kekeke)
As for me, I'm going to celebrate this one with Johnnie and all my friends. Apparently there are many driftin' singles party tonight also. And Valentine's day are not only for couples kay, it is for the drunkards too =P I mean it is an occassion to celebrate with all your beloved friends 2. So don't forget to crunch those messages to wish them Happy Valentines day!

I just found this article today titled 'Muslim authorities decry Valentine's Day celebrations in Malaysia, Brunei'
Excerpt from article:-
"From the point of view of Islam, this is not an advisable practice," said Muhammad Ramli Nuh, a state lawmaker who belongs to the ruling United Malays National Organization. "Unmarried couples might come together and mingle with each other in unacceptable ways."
"It is sad to note that we also celebrate such an occasion without knowing its origin, whether it is permissible in Islamic beliefs or otherwise," the imams said in a message carried by Brunei media. "Valentine's Day is not a celebration needed among Muslims."
